Who Me?
I was born and raised in Georgia, but I have lived in various parts of the United States, gaining a rich variety of experiences along the way. Currently, I reside in a rural area with my husband and our cat. I have a wide range of interests and hobbies, but my favorite activity is listening to people's stories. Friends and family describe me as kind, smart, and funny, and I’m passionate about helping others reach their full potential.
In addition to running this small practice, I also serve as the Clinical Director of Open Door Home in Rome, GA. I chose the name "Linkage Counseling" for my LLC because I have always been drawn to the concept of chains and links. To me, they symbolize strength, togetherness, stability, outreach, and connection—all qualities I strive to embody in my practice.
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, certified nutrition coach, and life coach. I help teens and adults navigate life transitions, achieve wellness goals, and manage difficult emotions. I hold a double major in Psychology and Sociology from Shorter University and a Master's in Social Work from Western New Mexico University. With extensive training in various therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, MI, SFBT, and TBRI, I bring a broad skill set to our sessions.
Since 2006, I have been committed to the mental health field, providing a warm and supportive space where you feel heard and empowered to create meaningful change. I'm here to support you on your journey toward healing and growth.
