All About Me

Welcome! I'm Whitney Gates, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, certified nutrition coach, and life coach. I specialize in working with teens and adults navigating life transitions, wellness goals, and managing difficult emotions. I earned a double major in Psychology and Sociology from Shorter University and a Master's in Social Work from Western New Mexico University. With training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and as a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) practitioner, I bring a diverse set of skills to our work together.

Since 2006, I have been dedicated to the mental health field, offering an open, warm, and friendly approach to therapy.
